Mission Statement

The Old Saybrook Education Foundation exists to generate and distribute resources to the Old Saybrook Public School District for programs and projects that enhance the quality of education and opportunities for students. ​

In its 21 years of existence, the Foundation has provided over $500,000 to educational enrichment programs for students and staff which include grants to support programs that align with the strategic plan and/or enrich the current curriculum.

Our board is comprised of community volunteers dedicated to the continuous improvement of the Old Saybrook Public Schools and the students we serve.

We have awarded scholarships to graduating seniors in the past ten years.
